Last night saw an episode from CSI-LV. One person two completely sets of DNA. That made the murder case harder than ever to solve. I heard of identical twins identical DNA, but never known dual identities until last night. The field of human genetics is just amazing!
我知道同卵雙胞胎有著同樣的DNA, 但直到昨晚看了CSI-LV的其中一集才知道原來在醫學上竟然還有極其罕見的的異卵雙胞胎合而為一的基因 (其中一個卵死掉但DNA卻與活的卵共存). 可想而知當嫌犯是這所謂希臘神話中變種合體人類時, DNA採樣分析結果是多麼地出人意料, 因為各種證物都指認該嫌犯, 但DNA確都不合. 最後才水落石出. 這種一個人擁有二組DNA的情形, 若以唾液, 血液, 或精液分析的DNA都會出現不同的結果.
